Cigarette smoke is harmful, many people die each day from long term inhalation of tobacco
smoke. Those people who do not die will suffer from various illnesses caused by cigarette
smoke inhalation into the body trough the lungs. The proper use of this product seriously
injures the health of its users and prolonged inhalation of tobacco smoke into the body is
attributable to many deaths each day, and this product is accepted by government and
advertised in various popular media outlets. This product comes packaged in tens of different
brands, a full line of product differentiation which is designed to capture as many users as
possible from all walks of life. There is a tobacco product made for everyone from the
sophisticated expensive kind right down to the cheap unfiltered brand. No matter where you
are in the social order of society, there is at least one tobacco brand designed with your
needs in mind! For profits of course! It does not matter that it will kill you in the long
run, or that your health will suffer while you consume cigarette smoke, intentionally inhaling
the burnt tobacco smoke into your otherwise healthy body, causing adverse reactions and
changes in the blood and brain chemistry. It is for profits! The government allows the
operation of the tobacco industry, even advertising is allowed to replenish the ranks of
smokers who died or quit inhaling harmful tobacco smoke! Manufacturing, distributing, and
advertising cigarettes is equated to fundamental rights that cannot be altered! Yet I believe
this industry should change. First ALL advertising of tobacco products should
be made illegal! Lets not replenish the ranks of smokers with fresh and healthy people when
the smokers group dwindles down from quitting or dying. Second eliminate product
differentiation of tobacco products, lets have one standard plain cigarette brand without the
colorful boxes and packaging, in fact the package should have a skull and bones sign on it,
the symbol for poison! This product should also be made available for cost, and no profit
should be made on it, as a courtesy to those who have not been able to quit inhaling tobacco
products. Hopefully as less and less new tobacco users will take on this destructive habit
there can be a time in the future when all tobacco manufacturing will cease, and people can
look back on the distant past with wonder and amazement as to how could a stupid thing like
that ever take off and be so popular with so many people? So many people dying and getting
sick for so long?
